Hispanic Americans now constitute approximately 14% of the total U.S. population. Our LATINStrategies division was created to serve corporations, non-profit groups and state and federal officials who need to effectively engage our fast-growing Hispanic communities.

The diversity of those communities makes effective outreach challenging.  LATINStrategies has a wealth of experience in helping you identify the most fruitful short- and long-term outreach goals.  We design holistic strategies that include grassroots and grasstops outreach, coalition building, direct lobbying, issue campaigns, policy development, strategic communications and management of corporate giving.

Our professionals have:

  • Advised the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) on messaging and coordinated all communications relating to litigation and public policy issues

  • Built a coalition among major national advocacy organizations to support efforts by M2Z Networks, a major Internet company, to provide fast, free, family-friendly wireless broadband Internet connectivity to 95% of the U.S. population

  • Created a national engagement and development strategy for the Hispanic Elected Local Officials (HELO), a constituency group of the National League of Cities

  • Advised the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, including promotion of their National Youth Awards, Latinos on a Fast Track, and the Hispanic Heritage Awards programs

  • Created Hispanics for a Fair Judiciary, an education and awareness campaign on the federal judiciary for the Alliance for Justice

  • Worked with community leaders in the public and private sectors to build support for a national Latino museum

  • Developed and implemented a successful strategy to reauthorize the Voting Rights Act for the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights and La Raza
