KIMBERLY GOULART is an Associate at The Raben Group. Focusing on the Commerce and Regulation practice group, Ms. Goulart assists clients with lobbying, coalition building, strategic planning and research.
Prior to joining The Raben Group, Ms. Goulart served as a case clerk at Kutak Rock LLP, in Atlanta, Georgia, with an emphasis on commercial real estate and public finance. While there, she worked on acquisition, affordable housing development, as well as Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and Guaranteed Tax Credit Fund transactions. Ms. Goulart's experience extends to the non-profit sector, where she was a research assistant for the Southern Center for Human Rights, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal representation for low-income people in criminal courts. While at the Center, Ms. Goulart focused on capital cases within the southeastern region, including Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Louisiana. She reviewed legal transcripts and assisted with legal research for the appellate process.
Before working at the Center, Ms. Goulart gained state-level experience working for a local lobbying and public affairs firm during the 2005 Georgia General Assembly. Her legislative duties included research, bill tracking, and attending committee hearings for a range of clients.
Ms. Goulart earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Georgia State University. Throughout her undergraduate career, Ms. Goulart was an active member of Amnesty International. She is an alumna of the Delta Zeta sorority.
