| KARA FORSYTH is a Junior
Associate with The Raben Group. Working mostly with the Constitution
and Justice Practice Group, she helps with outreach and communication
strategies for a range of clients as well as provides research assistance.
Prior to joining the Raben Group, Kara completed a public policy
fellowship with the Population Institute, a Washington DC based
non-profit addressing population and family planning issues on an
international level. She also has experience with domestic policy
through the Oregon State Legislature and work as a grassroots organizer
for the Democratic National Committee and reproductive health organizations
throughout Oregon and Washington State.
Kara attended Willamette University in Oregon where she graduated
Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude with a BA in Politics and a minor
in French. Her various leadership positions on campus included Students
for Choice and the Student Activities Board. Before moving to Washington
DC, Kara spent a year in Alsace, France teaching English in a secondary
school.
