JUSTIN BARASKY is a Junior Associate at The Raben Group, assisting clients with communications, direct lobbying, and other Congressional outreach. He is a member of the firm's strategic communications, and political practice teams where he works to send out numerous weekly news digests, build and maintain press lists, and other various projects.

Prior to joining The Raben Group, Mr. Barasky served as Finance Coordinator for State Senator Charlie Wilson, as Senator Wilson successfully sought the Democratic nomination to Congress in Ohio’s sixth district. Mr. Barasky managed the candidate’s call time, incoming donations, pledges, and did extensive donor research. Mr. Barasky was referred to this job after spending his first three months in Washington in the communications office at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. While at the DCCC, Mr. Barasky wrote press releases, pitched stories to local media, compiled daily press clippings, and assisted the Communications Director and Press Secretary with a variety of projects. Mr. Barasky also spent time in Congressman Ted Strickland’s office.
Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Barasky holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Communication from Ohio University. While at Ohio University Mr. Barasky also earned a minor in History, and was active in various political organizations on campus. Mr. Barasky remains an active member in various alumni groups at OU.
