Lizzie Ulmer, Staff Assistant

Lizzie Ulmer's clients include the American Civil Liberties Union and Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

Lizzie Ulmer assists client teams with her organizational and people skills.
 
Prior to joining The Raben Group, Lizzie worked on Capitol Hill as a staff assistant to Wisconsin Senator Herb Kohl. As staff assistant, she served as the frontline of constituent service, answering phone calls and responding to concerns regarding the United States Postal Service financial woes and postal reform. Before her employment on Capitol Hill, Lizzie interned for Servicemembers United, where she fought for the repeal the military’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy by organizing lobby efforts and crafting responses to the release of the Pentagon's Comprehensive Review Working Group Survey.
 
While at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Lizzie worked as the Information Guide Coordinator for the Visitor and Information Programs. In that role, she facilitated the successful expansion of the University’s visit program, which is designed to assist visitors and members of the campus community. Additionally, she served as the captain of the University of Wisconsin’s women’s water polo team.
 
A native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Lizzie graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an honors degree in Political Science and a Certificate in Business.
