Prior to joining The Raben Group, Christina served as legislative counsel to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (TX-18). In that capacity, she handled issues before three House Judiciary Subcommittees: Intellectual Property, Competition and the Internet; Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security; and Immigration Policy and Enforcement. While in Rep. Jackson Lee’s office, Christina worked on a number of pieces of legislation, including the landmark patent reform legislation “The America Invents Act,” and organized many briefings and town hall hearings. She also led the Congresswoman’s efforts to improve financial literacy education.
Prior to her time on the Hill, Christina worked in the Chief Counsel’s Office at the Department of Treasury Office of Thrift Supervision. At OTS, she handled litigation regarding receiverships of failed federally insured banks and worked closely with the legislative legal team to implement the financial regulatory reform bill.
During law school, Christina worked as a summer associate at Duane Morris, LLP. She also served as a law clerk at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and General Electric Company.
Christina graduated magna cum laude from Howard University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, and she holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. She is a native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
