The Raben Group’s policy breakfast with Congressman Chaka Fattah

September 15, 2011 - 8:30am - 9:30am

We’d be delighted if you’d join us for The Raben Group’s policy breakfast with Congressman Chaka Fattah.

Rep. Fattah has represented Pennsylvania's 2nd district, which includes much of Philadelphia, since 1995.  He sits on the House Appropriations Committee, serving as the ranking member of the Commerce, Justice, and Science subcommittee and also as a member of the Energy and Water Development subcommittee.

A leading advocate for expanding access to college, Rep. Fattah was the chief sponsor of the American Opportunity Tax Credit Act which will provide tax credits for college tuition and expenses to 3.7 million students.  He also created the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs which have invested over $3 billion in programs that help underserved students prepare for and pursue college educations.

Rep. Fattah is also the chair of the Congressional Urban Caucus, a bipartisan group of 57 members who represent metropolitan centers.

This policy breakfast is not a fundraiser and space is limited, so please let us know immediately if you plan to attend by emailing Rosa Mendoza at rmendoza@rabengroup.com or calling 202-587-2870.
