National Immigration Forum

Established in 1982, the National Immigration Forum is the leading immigrant advocacy organization in the country, with a mission to advocate for the value of immigrants and immigration to the nation.

The National Immigration Forum hired The Raben Group to help develop a strategy to enact national comprehensive immigration reform legislation.  We serve as part of the core legislative team for the Forum and for its Reform Immigration for America campaign.

Our team organized and led an all-day planning session to help the Forum clarify its strategy and design its tactics and helped maintain momentum for the national movement during times of transition within the organization.  Today, we help drive legislative activities for the multi-million dollar campaign and assist the Forum in coordinating its many state affiliates.

With The Raben Group’s assistance, the Forum has consistently engaged federal policymakers, coordinated the drafting of legislation and reached out to stakeholders across the country.  We have also helped the Forum secure local and national media coverage of its events and advised them on how to respond to challenges as they arise.

In March 2010, Reform Immigration FOR America brought more than 250,000 people to the National Mall to march in favor of comprehensive immigration reform.
